Soprano Molly Lesyk Debuts with the Angel City Chorale in Los Angeles on June 5

So much admiration for daughter-in-law Molly, who debuted with the Angel City Chorale this past weekend!

Angel City Chorale has been one of the premier choral groups in Southern California for almost 30 years, and features an amazing repertoire of classical, gospel, jazz, pop, and world music.  You may have seen this wonderful group on America’s Got Talent a few years ago!

The best thing though is this group’s mission is “Build Community One Song at a Time” and the members dedicate themselves to representing the spirit and diversity of Los Angeles in its membership, its music, and helping underserved populations and service organizations.

Covid has hindered some of ACC’s activities, but Molly even helped organized a drive-in rehearsal for this past weekend’s concert-not easy for a group numbering over 180 members!

Congratulations, Molly!  We love you!

Christina Lesyk, LMSW Presents at 2021 National Teaching Professor Conference in New Orleans

My wife Christina just doesn't quit!  Here she is presenting today at the 2021 national Teaching Professor conference in New Orleans - she was accepted to present twice, once on online course design and another discussion on how compassion fatigue affects academic advisors. This is on top of teaching a summer course!  Who says college instructors don't work over the summers?

Very proud that my wife Christina has been re-elected to the Board of Directors for the New York State Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW)! This Chapter is the 2nd largest in the United States, and she is very happy to continue working with such a vibrant community of social workers all across our state.
